Instructions
Note: Before launching, make sure that Enable access for assistive devices is turned on in the Universal Access pane of Systems Preferences. The script talks directly to Aperture’s user interface to faciliate the import process.

On launch, iView Keywords to Aperture will display a welcome screen with instructions

Click Run and you will be asked to locate the enclosing folder for iView’s Keywords preferences file. If you are running iView 2.6.4, you should navigate to the following location:
~/Library/Application Support/iView/Plug-ins/Favorites/Keywords
If you are running iView 3.0.1 or higher, the keywords are contained in a vocabulary folder here:
~/Library/Application Support/iView/Plug-ins/Vocabulary/Keywords

The script will then activate Aperture and import the keywords using the Keyword HUD. You do not need to do anything at this point. If a keyword group with the same name already exists, the script will append any new entries to the existing keyword group in Aperture.

Note: This script creates a temporary file on your Desktop to use for importing. You may delete this file after importing.
