Style: I ascribe to the photojournalist style of photography, though I am equally at ease with formal portraits and commercial photography. I roam the sidelines and the playing fields as a silent observer and documenter of memorable moments.

Equipment: Today, I am shooting with a Canon EOS-1D Digital SLR and a number of fast lenses. Though I specialize in available light photography, I do bring my own lighting equipment. For large shoots, I have an assistant who helps me with the drudgery of carrying my gear, setting up shots, and handing me lenses. I tend to work fast and shoot a lot of frames. For instance, a wedding typically nets over 700 photographs, the equivalent of 20 rolls of 36-exposure film!
Portfolio: My online portfolio contains exemplars of my work at dance performances, weddings, events, and concerts.
It also features images from my various travels around the world, in addition to portraits of the diverse group of that I have met and worked with.
Pricing and Availability: Though based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have had the pleasure of travelling to beautiful locations around the world such as France, the shores of Rhode Island, the cornfields of Minnesota, and Southern California for weddings and events.

I am available to shoot professional events, parties, weddings, dance and music performances, and portraits. You name it, I can shoot it. My rates are by no means free, but as the adage goes you get what you pay for. I stand behind my work, and you will not be disappointed with the results.
