Goodbye 2004. Welcome 2005.
I've been busy as of late on various consulting and photography projects, not to mention having a serious case of Halodiction. Because of that, I kept hearing last night things like, "You haven't been posting lately!" and "So, what have you been up to lately???" Well, I'm back and am looking forward to more frequent updates in 2005.
Eric hosted a New Year's party at his Oakland loft last night. He recently returned from a trip to Indonesia, where he avoided the devasting tsunami. My heart goes out to the millions of people affected by the catastrophe. Do your part to help the relief efforts.
It was nice to see people whom I haven't spoken to in a long time, like Jim, Dave, Eric, and Syndromes. Other people in attendance included Vienna, Aaron, Benjamin, Carolyn, SLSQ members Lesley and Chris, and Jeremy. Some of Eric's loft neighbors also showed up (there were several other parties going on at the same time), some of whom were wearing very interesting New Year's outfits. Yes, this is a slightly different neighborhood crowd in Oakland!
There's much to look forward in 2005. I guess the biggest news to announce for the New Year is that Rae and I are engaged! We're excited about our upcoming wedding, which is scheduled for the middle of 2005!
