Lost Coast

During Thanksgiving 2000, I went to the mysterious and rugged Lost Coast, a 25-30 mile strip of coastline untouched by human development.

Joining me on the Lost Coast were two Stanford students, Maddie Saran, a junior studying Biology, and Brett, a first-year Ph.D. student in Mathematics from the land down under, Australia. We had met only days prior and didn't know much about each other when we embarked on our trip. The next three days provided incredible and indelible landscapes, memories, and definite bonding. Welcome to my trip photojournal of the our trip to the Lost Coast.

The Lost Coast Trip Photojournal is separated into three sections:

Wednesday and Thursday: Arrival and hiking through Black Sands
Friday: Ascent up King Peak
Saturday: Keeping pace with Chico State
