Who We Know
Who We Know is an upcoming social discovery application that helps people find out who they know in common! The app securely compares each user’s Address Book and displays shared contacts.
The app uses GameKit for communicating between devices, obviating the need to go over the Web or Wi-Fi.
Requirements
- iPhone OS 3.0
- iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, or second-generation iPod touch
Usage
- Launch Who We Know
- Press the Begin button.
- Other devices running Do You Know? will shortly appear on your device.
- Tap on the device you want to connect to.
- On the other device, tap the Accept button.
- The two devices will compare their contacts and show you who you know in common!
History
The bulk of Who We Know was developed during iPhoneDevCamp 3, held on July 31-August 2, 2009, at Yahoo headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. Thanks to the fantastic help from Mike Margolis and Ramon Yvarra from SugarCube, Andrew Pouliot from Small Society and August Joki for helping me finish the project!
