New Home!
Rae and I are about to become homeowners!
I’ve been meaning to write this post for over a month now, but I wanted to wait until everything was signed, sealed, delivered, and closed.
We began our house hunting search in earnest at the end of December. Throughout January, Rae and I, along with our super real estate agent, Jon Abilay, saw countless homes and attended several open houses. We found some great townhomes and single family residences in Foster City, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Alviso, and San Jose. We ended up bidding on several places only to experience the disappointment of being outbid. Then, the real estate stars aligned, and we met our housing match with a beautiful home in Santa Clara.
We’ve enjoyed our time at Clubertino, but are very excited about the move. I’m looking forward to setting up my computer in the office/den, cooking in the open kitchen, and having summer fun in the pool. Randy will be joining us too; we’re already begun the housewarming party planning!

Awesome, Adam! I especially love the sun room and the octagonal window. And with a pool now, it is time for you to start doing triathlons! :)

Congratulations to you and Rae!
I found lots of great Korean restaurants in Santa Clara (for when you need a break from the kitchen). I wouldn’t mind living there myself! I wonder if you are going to keep Winnie The Pooh in the bedroom? The computer room and the entrance look especially nice.
Enjoy!!

Good for you guys! What made Santa Clara the winner if you don’t mind me asking? (Other than the fact that it is a gorgeous area).
