Eric’s Birthday Party

Hours before Eric got on a plane heading for Japan, his friends took him out to dinner at the Gordon Biersch in Palo Alto. Present along with the birthday boy were Mandy, Elliot, Bill, Warren, Elaine, Vienna, Geoff, Livia, Rae and me.
For most of my friends, 2007 will be the first decade post graduation. With everyone traveling these days, working hard, having kids, or getting engaged, it’s important to cherish the rare times when we can all get together. I have a feeling in the next decade, these times are going to become more and more rare.
Vienna is playing at The Independent in San Francisco next week. Rae and I will be attending the Friday gig. Congratulations go out to Geoff and Livia on the birth of their first child, Jack!
Here are some photos from Eric’s Birthday party at Gordon Biersch. Safe travels while in Japan, Eric!

Re: wp-smugmug
I’ve installed and the galleries are being represented, but I’m curious how you created your structured look on this page? What html and css options do you use to create the “tabled” appearance and captions? My standard install doesn’t do this. http://www.sagronek.us/archives/197

Steve – I’m running a slightly modified version of wp-smugmug on my site. I haven’t gotten around to packaging it up for a general release. I’ll email you directly with details.

Hi Adam,
I’ve downloaded your smugmug plugin and it works after a fashion. I mean, I’ve got the same problem like Steve. My photos all run downwards in a straight line, instead of that nice-looking table you’ve got there. Could you please tell me how to go about editing the options to get this tabled appearance too? Thanks in advance!

Adam,
Received the file you sent me and installed it in my blog. But still I’m getting the same problems – all the images are lined up downwards, instead of arranged into a table. You can see the test page here: http://www.mawesadobo.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=1316
I didn’t touch the settings yet. Can you help me out? Really, really love SmugMug, but I can’t use it on my WP blog.. :(

I’m going to release a new version of the plugin after I return from China next month. It will offer more customization for the display of photos from the plugin. Stay tuned!

I can’t seem to locate any instructions on how to use the plug-in. I have it downloaded, and I have checked SmugMug’s Support Forum, but I can’t figure out what I need to do. Please help.

Bill – I’m ready a brand-new release of WP-SmugMug which will make using the plugin much easier. I’m hoping to get it out within the next week. Stay tuned.
